For the second consecutive year, the Female National basketball team has captured the PrepWest Women's Basketball League (PWBL) Championship, capping off another impressive season against competition from across Western Canada. The team finished the PWBL season with only one loss (9-1) in 10 games.

The PWBL continues to grow as a premier platform for female student-athletes, bringing together talented teams and providing meaningful opportunities for players to compete, develop and showcase their abilities. Throughout the season, the Mountaineers consistently rose to the challenge, demonstrating resilience, teamwork and a competitive edge.

The 2025–26 season also showcased the collaborative effort behind the league's success. The PWBL extended thanks to all participating teams and supporters, along with coverage partners who helped bring the action to a wider audience.
