We are excited to announce that Jhony Verrone will be the Head Coach of our female prep basketball program starting for the 2025/2026 season.

Fresh off of leading the University of Calgary women's program as their interim Head Coach for the second semester in 2025, Jhnoy has in-depth experience as a post-secondary coach and leader. Jhony has spent over five years coaching in the Dinos program with both the mens and womens teams, as well as coaching youth in the Calgary community. He has also been a member of the Basketball Alberta provincial team staff as well.

"I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity to join a program with such a strong tradition of excellence – both on and off the court," says Jhony. "At Edge, the student-athlete experience is truly at the heart of everything, and I'm excited to contribute to that environment. I look forward to leading and mentoring this talented group of young athletes, helping them grow not only in their basketball skills but also in confidence, character, and leadership."
