While Mirco Dufour, Landon DuPont, and Luke Vlooswyk came up just short in the Memorial Cup Final, one former Mountaineer left with some hardware.

Congratulations to Kaden Schneider, who became just the second Edge alumnus ever to win a Memorial Cup, and the first in 19 years since J.D. Watt (one of our school's original seven students) when he captured the title with the Vancouver Giants in 2007. Kaden and the Kitchener Rangers also won the Ontario Hockey League Championship en route to their national win.
