Congratulations to
Carsten Leyerzapf on his commitment to the Lloydminster Bobcats for the 2026-27 season.
Carsten has been one of the CSSHL's most dependable netminders, posting a combined 38-9-5 record across regular season and playoff action during his career (U15, U15 Prep, U17 Prep and U18 Prep).
This season, he was outstanding for our U18 Prep team, recording a 9-4-3 record, four shutouts, a 1.90 GAA, and a .933 SV%. He elevated his game even further in the playoffs, finishing with a 1.59 GAA and a .949 SV%.
His strong play earned opportunities at the next level, including a winning start with the Bobcats before being called up to Wenatchee in the WHL, where he stopped 108 shots across two games, highlighted by a remarkable 54-save performance in his debut victory (a 5-1 win over Everett). His efforts were recognized with CHL Protector of the Week honours.
We look forward to following your journey in Lloyd, Carsten.
