Four Edge alumni are taking the next step in their basketball careers – signing with the Calgary Surge in the Canadian Elite Basketball League – bringing their journeys full circle back to YYC.
• Thow Biel (Edge Class of '20) – 11.7 PPG, 4.2 REB, 44.6 FG% at Maine in the NCAA this season
• Joshua Francis – AUS All-Rookie selection at Memorial
• MJ Okado (Edge Class of '21) – 3x U SPORTS National Champion, 1,000+ career points with Carleton
• Caelum Swanton-Rodger (Edge Class of '21) – averaged 8.2 PPG, 4.9 REB and 1.79 blocks per game with Old Dominion in the NCAA this season
