Introducing Her Mountain, our Female Health & Performance Program

We are proud to announce the next step in how we will support our female student-athletes at Edge School moving forward.

Introducing Her Mountain – a female health & performance program designed to support, empower and elevate our female student-athletes on and off the field of play.

Led by Brady Greening, Her Mountain is rooted in belonging, identity, confidence, sisterhood, knowledge, voice, strength, growth and becoming.

"My goal is that every female at Edge feels like she belongs here, has a voice here, and grows stronger because of the community around her," says Brady. Below is why this initiative is coming to life and where Brady plans to take it:

Why Her Mountain?

To ensure that every female at Edge feels like she belongs here, has a voice here, and grows stronger because of the community around her.

The Heart of It

Her Mountain is not about:

Competing with the boys, complaining about inequality or proving worth.

Her Mountain is about:

Belonging, identity, confidence, sisterhood, knowledge, voice, strength, growth & becoming.

Why this matters?

Sport is often built on a masculine spirit — intensity, structure, competition, constant output. Go harder. Push through. Don't slow down.

But the feminine spirit is built on rhythm, intuition, adaptability, and connection. It listens. It adjusts. It rises in waves.

We often feel the push and pull of this:
  • the drive to compete
  • and the wisdom to adapt

Because when we honour both…we don't just perform. We thrive.

Manifesto

Her Mountain is more than a climb – it is our home.

Here, we feel alive. We don't follow a trail, because the path is one we create together. Each step is not a hurdle to overcome, but a chance to rise higher. On this mountain, strength is shared, voices are heard, and confidence is built. We are not outsiders looking up – we are already here.

This is our place. Our community. Our belonging.

At Edge, you are part of something bigger than a team. How you treat other female athletes shapes the culture we all train in.

Strength isn't just physical. It's built when girls support girls – quietly, consistently, and without needing credit.

This isn't about being best friends with everyone. It's about choosing not to be someone who makes this space harder for another girl. It's OUR home. It's OUR space.

Her Mountain Code

In a world that asks us to shrink, we EXPAND.
  • We take up space.
  • We ask the questions.
  • We speak up.
  • We learn what isn't being talked about.
  • We point out what isn't being seen.
  • We create a world where we have power, we stand out, we lead.
This isn't one sport's mountain.

This is Her Mountain.

All of ours.

And we're climbing it together.

FOR HER. WITH HER. BESIDE HER.

Her Mountain Future

  • Guest speakers
  • Mentorship and Leadership opportunities

The female student-athletes in our building will guide what workshops and lessons are taught in the Female Health & Performance program.

Female Athlete Pledge

I pledge to…
  • Speak up when I need support
  • Fuel and rest my body with respect
  • Train with purpose and recover without guilt
  • Listen to what my body is telling me
  • Celebrate courage in myself and others
  • Lift other girls up – not tear them down
  • Use my voice even when it feels uncomfortable
Be proud of how I show up

I deserve to take up space.

 This is my climb.
