Grade 12 student-athlete, Alex Adler, has committed to California State University, Chico and its men's golf program – a program consistently ranked in the Top 20 of NCAA Division II men's golf.

Alex joined Edge School in Grade 11, arriving from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as the first international student-athlete in our golf program. From the moment he stepped on campus, he made an immediate impact, developing not only as an elite golfer but also as a leader among his peers. His unwavering work ethic and determination have made him one of the most coachable and driven players to come through the program.

This past season, Alex put together an impressive tournament campaign, competing in high-level events on both the Maple Leaf Junior Tour and Hurricane Junior golf circuits. His standout performances set the stage for his next big opportunity—the College Golf Experience camp in Calgary last summer, where he caught the attention of college coaches. Maximizing every chance to network, Alex earned multiple referrals and endorsements, which helped him navigate the recruitment process and ultimately land his spot at Chico State.

Alex is incredibly grateful for the support of his parents, coaches both at Edge and in Mexico, and the generosity of the Cook family, who helped make his journey possible. While his future at Chico State is bright, there is still plenty to accomplish in his final season at Edge. With big goals ahead for the 2025 golf season, Alex remains focused on his continued growth and development.
