Congratulations to former Mountaineer, Piper Logan, who is competing with Canada's Women's Rugby Sevens Team at the 2024 Paris Olympics! Piper was at Edge for her Grade 8 and 9 years (2014-2016) in the dance program before going on to Ernest Manning High School. She started rugby in 2016 and along the way has played with the Calgary Hornets, the Calgary Mavericks and the U SPORTS' UBC Thunderbirds (playing mostly at wing).

Piper has also worn red and white for Team Canada at the Pam American Games (2023), World Cup Sevens (2022) and the Commonwealth Games (2022).

The Canadian Rugby Sevens start their slate of action with two games on Sunday, July 28 (vs Fiji at 9:30 AM, vs New Zealand at 1:30 PM).
