Congratulations to Ify Nwaobi on winning silver at the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Canada placed atop the Group A standings with a record of 3-0, and advanced to the gold medal game after defeating Mexico in the quarter-finals and Brazil in the semi-finals. The United States beat Canada in a closely contested final at Coliseo Bicentenario on June 23.

Ify averaged 6.0 points and 6.3 rebounds with Team Canada. During her three years at Edge, Ify has overcome many hurdles as she has continually improved year-over-year. Her perseverance earned her an opportunity to represent Canada on the U18 team for this event, and we are very proud of her!
